This blend is a carefully crafted combination of two extraordinary coffees. First, we have an Ethiopian Gesha from the Yirgacheffe region, produced by the renowned Israel Degfa and processed at the Gelana Dry Mill. This coffee is grown at altitudes of 1,850 to 2,200 metres above sea level, resulting in a bean that’s packed with vibrant, fruity notes. The Ethiopian Gesha in this blend brings a bright, lively character to the cup, with hints of tropical fruits and a floral undertone that’s distinctly Ethiopian.

 

Paired with the Ethiopian Gesha is a Nicaraguan coffee from Finca Santa Maria de Lourdes, located in the San Fernando subregion of Nueva Segovia. This coffee is no ordinary Nicaraguan bean—it undergoes a raised bed natural processing method with extended anaerobic cherry fermentation. This meticulous process brings out deep, funky flavours that are rich, fruity, and just a little bit wild. Grown at 1,550 metres, this Nicaraguan coffee adds a layer of complexity and depth to the blend, with notes of fermented fruit and a rich, almost wine-like body.
